This weekend we had a ward
campout at
Kolob Reservoir. As uneventful as we thought it would be it actually was pretty fun.

We went for a hike in Zion on one of the
backcountry trails. Needless to say we didn't get very far. Maybe a mile into the hike at the most. I don't think any of us were really feeling like going but we did it anyway. After we decided to turn
around Parker lost his tooth on the trail, literally. There was so much drama because he thought that the
tooth fairy wouldn't come if he didn't have his tooth. We didn't find it. It's
buried in the sand somewhere but needless to say the
tooth fairy came anyway.

Some of the Ward Members brought up motorcycles, 4-wheelers, and
gocarts. The kids had a lot of fun on them in the morning. We were surprised at how well Parker can drive. He's a natural.

As for Natalie, well that's another story. She was doing pretty well until she ran over a little boy. She felt really bad but everyone was stopped in the middle of the road and she didn't know how to use the breaks. I think she takes after her mom.

That first picture is worthy of a enlargement and frame. Its so pretty. It looks like an old west picture...but in color.
